Becoming a Therapist
As I worked over a decade as a photographer,
I didn’t realize I was training to become a therapist...
That time was about paying careful attention to the interplay of light and the particularities of my subjects. I learned that the act of being seen is one of the most essential human experiences. I want to push deeper into those themes. My work holds space for the mystery, complexity and integrative qualities of people. I have a masters in the art of counseling psychology, and that art continues to evolve with a sustained sense of curiosity.
